The pattern is built around the blade and carry method
For many commissions I do not need the physical knife. An exact model, clear photographs, dimensions and a traced or scanned outline are often enough to start. If the geometry requires more information for a reliable fit, I will confirm that before production.

What helps me quote a custom sheath accurately
1. Knife details
Send the knife make and model if known, overall dimensions, clear photographs and — when possible — a traced or scanned outline.
2. Carry and style
Tell me how you want to carry the knife and whether the sheath should be a restrained working piece or a decorated commission with carving and a personal motif.
3. Final scope
Once fit, construction and finish are clear, I confirm the quote and practical production route. International shipping is arranged individually.

Do you need the physical knife?
Not always. Many commissions can start from an exact model, dimensions, photographs and a traced outline. If more is required for reliable fit, I will confirm it before production.
Can the sheath be made without carving?
Yes. Plain working sheaths are an important part of the offer. Decoration is optional and never takes priority over safe construction and carry.
Can I send a reference image?
Yes. The enquiry form accepts one reference image or PDF, which is often the fastest way to explain the knife, carry idea or visual direction.
